Chile
On the 22nd of July I arrived to Viña del Mar, Chile. Viña del Mar is a city within the region of Valparaíso, Chile. At the start of August, I began my internship with KPMG.
KPMG has been very accommodating. Everyone that I work with is very nice. The auditors of my office have befriended me, taking me to barbeques, to play soccer, and to also enjoy the nightlife. I feel almost incapable of being homesick, because of the way that KPMG treats me here.
Even though I have just started my internship, I feel that this is the best decision that I have made in my college career. I am much more involved in the culture than I was in any of the other countries that I traveled to. My Spanish is improving at an incredible rate, mostly due to the fact that there is not anyone in my office that speaks English. I hope that other students have the same opportunity that I have to study/work abroad.
The area that I live in Viña is by far the best region that there is to offer. My apartment, which is fully paid for by KPMG, is situated on the beach one block away from KPMG's office building.

Some of the clients that I work with are outside of Viña del Mar, in the South at the ports of Valparaíso.
